Success at Britain in Bloom

Another successful year for the village in the Britain in Bloom competition. Wendy & Mo 2 of our volunteers who had accompanied the judges around the village on the judging day back in July, were kind enough to go down to the award ceremony in Newquay to represent us. We are very pleased to be awarded a Silver Gilt, the second highest category of five awards. The judges comments were positive and were particularly impressed by the evidence of a strong and active community spirit.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all volunteers for their tremendous effort in preparing for the judges and there continual support through the year keeping the village clean, tidy and vibrant.
