Community litter pick collects 22 sacks of rubbish

Plympton St Maurice Civic Association have organised a community litter pick around the village with the focus on the Pathfields. Over 16 adults and children (and two dogs) helped clear the top car park on Pathfields down to and including the field with pond. Great feedback and thanks from those walking by and 22 sacks filled in total. The team were very lucky with the weather on such a bright beautiful day.

The initiative was so successful, it has been proposed that it will become a quarterly event. Well done to Janet Skinner for coming up with the idea and for planning and coordinating everyone.
